Judith “Judi” York, 60, died Jan. 20, 2010, at her residence in Lincolnville.

She was born in Camden on March 18, 1949, the daughter of Theodore and Leona (Herrick) Curit. She worked for many years in the woolen mill. She was an avid drawer, especially of people and faces. She was a member of King David’s Lodge Anna Temple Ladies Shrine. Judith loved her animals and was known to spoil them rotten, especially her dog. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Mike York, of Lincolnville; two daughters, Pam Hill and Ernie Tancrell of Warren and Candice and Arthur Hutchinson of Owls Head; three sons, Andrew Thompson of Matinicus, Michael Thompson of Thorndike and Alex Perry of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Lincolnville Community Building.
