A press conference featuring Caribbean opera star Phillip Mentor, Grammy award winner Paul Sullivan, Gretchen O’Grady, RN, emergency services director, American Red Cross Pine Tree Chapter, and Justin Walker, fFounder of Water Projects International, was held Jan. 21 at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts in Unity.

The press conference raised awareness of Haiti relief efforts and the Hope for Haiti Benefit Concert featuring Mentor and Sullivan at the center Friday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit the Haiti relief efforts of the Red Cross and Water Projects International.
