Although small in numbers, the Mount View indoor track team came away from Saturday’s talent-laden Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference meet at Colby College with mixed results.
Mustang Curtis Griffin placed first in the boys 55-meter hurdles junior division and Mount View also had several other top-10 competitors, as well as seeing many others place in the mid-ranges of the events.
The individual Mustang girls results were:
Long jump — 36, Kaytlyn Porter, 9-3.25.
55 meters junior division — 7, Masha Faulkner, 9.13; and 17, Porter, 10.7.
200 meters junior division — 13, Faulkner, 34.8; and 16 Porter, 36.11.
200 meters senior division — 15, J.J. Barreiros, 31.39.
Shot put senior division — 17, Barreiros, 21-6.

Pole vault — 13, Kyle Story, 7-6.
Long jump — 24, William Buker, 16-0.75; 32, Story, 14-9.75; 33, Jared Hustus, 14-06.75; 36 Fischer, 13-1; and 43, Candon Needham, 10-8.5.
55 meters junior division — 4, Griffin, 7.48; and 28, Noah LaForge, 8.34.
200 meters junior division — 26, N. LaForge, 29.6.
55-meter hurdles junior division — 1, Griffin, 9.55.
