First Light Gallery, at the downtown traffic light corner, is featuring work by gallery artist Kay Sullivan and artist/owner Lucinda Talbot this winter, and both will offer multi-session workshops this month.

Sullivan makes drawings and paintings based on nature. She received her master of fine arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Her work is held in many private collections. Talbot is well-known for her vibrant collages and is a signature member of the Society of Lyrists in Multi-Media. Both artists’ work may be seen at First Light Gallery and on its Web site,

Sullivan will teach a drawing workshop suitable for both beginners and artists looking to refine their skills Thursday afternoons beginning Feb. 25. Talbot will teach collage and mixed media painting alternate Saturdays beginning Feb. 20.
