An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following activity between Feb. 9 and Feb. 16.

Feb. 10
Kris E. Anderson, 42, of Bethel was summoned for speeding 50 mph in a 25 mph zone on Route 1.

Feb. 12
Deborah A. Merchant, 49, of Camden was summoned for speeding 57 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.

Feb. 13
Chad E. Fitzherbert, 35, of Searsport was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 14
Chad Badore, 37, of Bucksport was summoned for an inspection sticker violation and failure to register vehicle, between 30 and 150 days past-due.

In total, the department responded to 34 calls for service during the week.
