An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity between Feb. 9 and Feb. 16.

Feb. 10

Marty Ashworth, 37, of Stockton Springs was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines, operating after revocation and operating under the influence.

Jessica Gibbons, 22, of Swanville was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines.

Christine Macleod, 55, of Brooks was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines.

Sheldrick Curtis, 42, of Brooks was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines.

Richard T. Mesaric, 61, of Hackettstown, N.J., was summoned for speeding 77 mph in a posted 55 mph zone on Route 9 in Troy.

Ayron W. Vanhoy, 20, of Unity was arrested for criminal mischief.

Feb. 11

Michael Baker, 20, of Liberty was arrested for violating condition of release.

William G. Mattingly, 28, of Troy was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

Feb. 12

Smith L. Bickford Jr., 47, of Jackson was arrested for assault, operating after suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Feb. 14

Anthony J. Chasse, 18, of Northport was summoned for speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue in Belfast.

Derek C. Hustus, 26, of Swanville was summoned for possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

Janice L. Moody, 45, of Northport was summoned for domestic violence assault.

Feb. 15

Robert I. Porter, 26, of Belfast was arrested on a warrant for theft by unauthorized taking.

Zafra Whitcomb, 38, of Montville was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Ayron W. Vanhoy, 20, of Unity was summoned for criminal mischief and reckless conduct.

Feb. 16

Nicholas R. Moll, 27, of Waldo was arrested on warrants for operating under the influence with two priors, operating without a license and failure to make an oral or written accident report.

Philip A. Little, 30, of Belmont was arrested on a warrant for operating after suspension.
