Waldo Community Action Partners is offering a free one-hour session on the importance of writing a will by speaker Randy Mailloux, Esq., an attorney from the Belfast law firm Mailloux & Marden. It will take place Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Belfast Library from 5-6 p.m.

Not having a will is just as much of a problem as trying to save money and craft one using Internet programs, says Mailloux, who has worked with families who’ve spent even more money trying to untangle messy legal issues over badly written or nonexistent wills.

Mailloux will discuss how to make sure your family is well protected, receives exactly what you wish, and isn’t additionally stressed concerning your funeral arrangements. Bring a pen and notebook and be ready with questions. The program will take place on the third floor of the library in the conference room.
