R Space, the Midcoast’s new all-ages music venue, will hold an all-ages electronic music dance party Saturday, Feb. 27 with Vistas and Kelly Hailey, both from Camden. The show will take place at Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education, 24 Lincoln St., from 7 to 10 p.m.

Admission at the door will be $3. Anyone younger than 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Vistas’ music is electronic compositions compiling many sounds including, but not limited to, acoustic and electronic samples. Their goal from the beginning was to make music that is dynamic and that spans across multiple facets. Josh Nagle plays the Korg Electribe analog sampler, a laptop computer and keyboard, while Owen Cartwright plays guitars, a laptop live station and an APC40. Their first album can be heard at vistas.bandcamp.com.

Kelly Hailey is a one-man band of both electronic and acoustic instruments, sampling them through a song and ultimately bringing it to conclusion. For more information, send e-mail to r_spaceatlsc@yahoo.com or call 542-6705.
