New paintings by Eric Leppanen, a Belfast artist who grew up in Owls Head, are on view on the walls of Revival Salon, 33 Main St. The work will remain on display through April 30.

Leppanen has said he thinks of himself as an “action painter,” moving and shaping each piece using his intense passion for energy, time, space and the mysteries of the universe. The show at Revival Salon is titled “Recycling Abstract.”
