Republicans around Waldo County will be gathering for caucus events in the coming weeks. At those events, they will be electing delegates and alternates to Maine’s Republican Convention as well as electing members of the Waldo County Republican Committee and organizing for upcoming elections.

Republican officials urge their fellow party members to attend these caucuses. The state convention will be held May 7-8 in Portland, and party leaders say these events are excellent opportunities for local Republicans to meet and speak with those who are running for office.
