The Penobscot Expedition Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored Waldo County high school Good Citizens at the March 9 meeting at the Penobscot Marine Museum.
Selected from Belfast Area High School was senior Ashton Fancy from Swanville, and from Searsport High District School was senior Marisa Higgins of Stockton Springs. The girls, who had been voted for by their peers, were each given a $200 savings bond and a Good Citizen Certificate and pin. Both honorees were pinned by their mothers.
The next DAR meeting will be held Tuesday, April 13 at 1 p.m.
