Michael Ray Heath, 55, died March 8, 2010.

He was born Nov. 22, 1954, in Sherman, a son of Ivory B. Heath Jr. and Elizabeth M. (Foster) Burby. He was employed as a truck driver by Carver’s Trucking.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Roberta (Lane) Heath, with whom he had shared the last seven years; his parents, Elizabeth Burby of Millinocket, and Ivory Heath and his wife, Janice, of East Millinocket; a son, James, and his wife, Anne; five stepchildren, Jessica Lane and her husband, Jimmy, of Portage, Justin Willigar and his wife, Kelly, of Saco, Danielle Willigar of Benedicta, Jamie Whitcomb and his wife, Chastity, of Troy and Amy Brown and her husband, Craig, of Unity; a brother, Stephen Heath, and his wife, Rhoda, of Stacyville; two sisters, Ellen Van Dine and her husband, Chip, of Millinocket and Lorinda Waltz and her husband, Jeff, of Cornville; a brother-in-law, Dicky Lane, and his wife, Gail, of Island Falls; three sisters-in-law, Diane Deschesne and husband, Bill, of Presque Isle, Charlene Springer and her husband, Rusty, of Sherman and Heidi Morse and her husband, Ricky, of Patten; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many loving aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by a grandmother, Barbara Coffin; an uncle, Robert Foster; his stepfather, Richard Burby; his mother- and  father-in-law, Donna and Robert Lane.

A memorial service was held March 13, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Willigar officiating.
