An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity between March 12 and March 14.

March 12
Kate Dodge, 32, of Unity was arrested on a warrant for assault and summoned for sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

March 13
Shauna M. Pomeroy, 25, of Searsport was summoned for operating with an expired license more than 90 days past-due and failure to show proof of insurance.

March 14

At about 7:10 a.m., Matthew R. Young, 31, of Troy was driving south on Detroit Road (Route 220) just before Burnham Road intersection when a deer ran across the road and collided with the left front of his 2002 Subaru. Damage was estimated at $1,800.

Samantha J. Reed, 19, of Burnham was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

David L. Oxton II, 39, of Knox was summoned for operating after suspension.

Andy S. Fitzsimmons, 30, of Hancock was summoned for operating after suspension.

Ty W. Bowden, 23, of Waldo was summoned for operating at greater than reasonable and prudent speed and operating an unregistered all-terrain vehicle on Kendall Corner Road in Waldo.

Kevin Wood, 23, of Brooks was arrested for two counts of violating condition of release.

Amber Clark, 20, of Brooks was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

March 15
Michael D. Thompson, 36, of Rockland was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

John Paige, 33, of Northport was summoned for domestic violence assault.

March 16
Peter A. Bailey, 24, of Northport was summoned for assault.

Ira H. Bailey, 27, of Northport was summoned for criminal mischief and assault.
