The Oscar-nominated documentary “Food, Inc.” will be screened Friday night, Feb. 26 at the Palermo Community Center, Palermo Community Center, Veterans Way off Turner Ridge Road. The film will be shown after a 6 p.m. potluck supper.

Hailed as one of the year’s most important films, “Food, Inc.” exposes how our nation’s food supply is controlled by a handful of corporations that put profit ahead of consumer and animal health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and the environment.

The screening is free and open to the public, although donations will be gratefully accepted. For more information, call 993-2327.
