An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following activity between March 16 and March 23:
March 16
Richard C. Savage, 59, of Knox was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.
Elvis N. Robbins, 55, of Belfast was arrested for failure to appear.
Daniel M. Hodgdon, 36, of Belfast was summoned for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
James P. Collins, 24, of Bangor was summoned for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
Jason D. Ames, 24, of Belfast was summoned for speeding 29 mph in a 15 mph school zone on Miller Street.
March 17
Walter W. Aldrich, 48, of Westborough, Mass., was summoned for speeding 59 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
Roland Robitaille III, 28, of Freedom was summoned for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
Gloria Young, 76, of Searsport was summoned for speeding 29 mph in a 15 mph school zone.
Charles W. Soper, 50, of Morrill was summoned for speeding 48 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road.
Michelle A. Cogswell, 28, of Belfast was summoned for failure to show proof of insurance.
Lauralee G. Stairs, 17, of Searsport was summoned for exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more on Route 1.
At 5:20 p.m., Deborah A. Adams, 47, of Belfast was driving a 2006 Chevrolet south on Curtis Road when her vehicle got too far to the right and dropped off the pavement and struck the ditch. Adams was not injured. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,800.
At about 5:50 p.m., Tina L. Oldson, 39, of Brewer was slowing to make a right-hand turn into Goose River Grocery on Swan Lake Avenue in a 1992 Toyota when Moxie D. Palmer, 21, of Montville failed to see Oldson about to make the turn and hit her from behind in a 2001 Toyota. Neither driver was injured. Both vehicles received about $1,500 damage.
March 18
Elizabeth A. McBride, 49, of Northport was arrested for operating under the influence and operating after suspension.
Heidi L. Leathers, 29, of Belfast was summoned for forgery and theft.
Earl W. Leathers, 23, of Belfast was summoned for forgery and theft.
Benjamin S. Dunham, 23, of Morrill was summoned for failure to show proof of insurance.
Kevin D. Jewell, 41, of Belfast was summoned for failure to show proof of insurance.
Daniel J. Forero, 51, of Monroe was arrested for operating under the influence and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Wayne D. Tracey, 51, transient, was arrested for violating condition of release.
Alva B. Pollard, 53, of Searsmont was arrested for operating under the influence.
March 19
Heather St. Pierre, 25, of Portland was summoned for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
Jesse E. Grover, 27, of Old Town was summoned for speeding 64 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Martine L. Toulouse, 48, of Northport was summoned for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
March 20
Neena M. Jackson, 29, of Belfast was summoned for operating after suspension.
Elizabeth B. Duncan, 81, of Monroe was summoned for speeding 44 mph in a 25 mph zone on High Street.
March 21
Deborah Hawrylycz-Beusltie, 39, of Surry was summoned for speeding 59 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.
Mandy Mosher, 21, of Belfast was summoned for harassment by telephone.
Jason C. Alley, 26, of Nobleboro was summoned for failure to stop at a red light.
March 22
Jesse W. Dodge, 28, of Rockport was summoned for operating after suspension.
John E. Fontaine, 67, of Waldo was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.
Gertrude N. Frederick, 50, of Stockton was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines.
