A Belfast man was arrested March 20 after police said he stabbed another man during a fight outside a Front Street bar.
According to Belfast Police Chief Jeff Trafton, two men began arguing over a woman at the Lookout Bar & Grill shortly after 1 a.m.
The two men then took the disagreement outside and James J. Martin, 32, allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man in the chest, Trafton said.
The man received a minor wound and did not need to go to the hospital, according to Trafton.
Martin was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. He was taken to the Waldo County Jail.
