On Saturday, April 17 the Stockton Springs American Legion Post 157 will present a federal benefits seminar for veterans and their spouses from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Legion Hall, 5 Sandy Point Road, just off of Route 1 North.

Topics to be discussed include: health-care eligibility, veterans with service-connected disabilities, home loan guarantee, tax credits and benefits, burial and memorial services, VA claims process, dependents and survivors benefits, Agent Orange-related illnesses and other important veterans topics. A realtor and a mortgage underwriter will be available to address questions concerning VA mortgage loan eligibility.

The seminar is free. All veterans and their spouses are encouraged to attend to learn more about federal benefits they may be eligible to receive.

Refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to speak with presenters and experts to ask questions and schedule follow-up meetings.
