Easter in Frankfort

Frankfort Congregational Church will hold an Easter sunrise service at Mt. Waldo Park. Be there by 6 a.m. for the sunrise. A potluck breakfast will follow after the service and a communion.

Good Friday at Freedom Congregational Church

There will be Good Friday services at the Freedom Congregational Church starting at 7 p.m. All denominations are welcome.

Easter in Lincolnville

Bayshore Baptist Church: A 6 a.m. sunrise service at Lincolnville Beach will be followed by a community breakfast at the church as guests of Bayshore. Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m.

Crossroads Community Church: An Easter egg hunt and other activities for toddlers through sixth grade will be held at LCS, Saturday, April 3, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Easter Sunday a free breakfast for the community at 9 a.m. will be followed by Bible study at 10 a.m. and worship at 11. United Christian Church: A sunrise service, 6:30 a.m. will be held at Norton Pond (weather permitting – call 763-4526 if in doubt), with worship at 9:30 a.m.

Easter in Prospect

The Rev. Sybille Norris of Redeeming Love Church of God has announced special activities at the church for Easter Sunday, April 4. There will be an Easter morning breakfast for the public from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Prospect Community Center (donations accepted). The Easter Celebration Service will be at 10 a.m., followed by an Easter egg hunt for the children.

Parents are reminded of the weekly youth night service provided at Redeeming Love from 6-7:30 p.m. It is open to children of all ages, with a variety of age-appropriate, fun activities, including singing, free guitar lessons, puppet shows, games and crafts. Easter in Winterport

There will be an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. and a Communion service on Oak Hill on Route 69 in Winterport.with Steve Nute from the Nealley’s Corner Church conducting the service. This makes 37 consecutive years of this sunrise service. Signs will be out.

Ellingwoods Corner United Methodist Church will have Easter sunrise services on Blueberry Hill (off Monroe Road ) at 7 a.m., followed by a goodwill offering breakfast at the church. Sunday regular service is at 9 a.m. Car-pooling from the church will be available. Ccall 234-2742.

The Ellingwoods Corner church will have a rummage and food sale Friday, April 9, from 3-6 p.m., Saturday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to noon and again 4-6 p.m., which includes a baked bean supper. All you can eat for $6 for adults and children $ 3.
