Unity College and the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce will host a gubernatorial candidate forum Monday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts, 42 Depot St. (off Route 202). The theme of the forum will be the future of Maine’s environment and business community.

Candidates participating are Steve Abbot, Bill Beardsley, Matt Jacobson, Paul LePage, Pat McGowan, Peter Mills, Libby Mitchell, Les Otten, Steve Rowe, Rosa Scarcelli, Eliot Cutler, and Kevin Scott. The moderator will be Ed Cervone of the Maine Development Foundation. Questions will be asked by the moderator and a panel of four business and environmental professionals.

A limited number of auditorium access tickets for the general public are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis (limit two tickets per request) by contacting Robert Constantine at rconstantine@unity.edu, or by phone at 948-3131, ext. 302. There will also be open admission to the basement level free of charge for a live audio feed of the candidate forum.

Admission to the basement level does not require a ticket.
