Saturday, April 17, from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. at the Connor Mill Trail in Unity, Andy Gagnon from the Unity College Trail Club will lead participants in proper techniques for building bog-bridging. The Connor Mill Trail winds along some very wet areas and bog-bridging keeps this trail passable in the spring and fall.
Those interested in this training can come for an hour, or the entire time, but please preregister with the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust (formerly Friends of Unity Wetlands) at 948-3766 to ensure there are enough tools available. Those planning to stay the entire time should bring a lunch to eat out on the trail.
