A Belfast man was charged following a dispute between occupants of two neighboring rooms at the Admiral’s Ocean Inn on Route 1.

At about 2:40 a.m. March 27, there was an argument because the occupant of one room thought the person in the room next door was making too much noise, according to Belfast Police Chief Jeff Trafton.

Trafton then said Korey L. Philbrick, 41, of Belfast pointed a firearm at another man and threatened to shoot him.

Philbrick was summoned for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
