The following cases were closed in Fifth District Court in Belfast between March 29 and April 2:
Nikolas M. Ames, 19, of Waldoboro was found guilty of operating a vehicle without a license and fined $150.
Leslie M. Denton, 36, of Thorndike was found guilty of failure to register a vehicle and fined $100.
Gregory W. Doucette, 60, of Monroe was found guilty of failure to register a vehicle and fined $100.
Paul Reed, 42, of Menden, Mass., was found guilty of operating an unregistered snowmobile and fined $100.
Benigno A. Soto, 56, of Belfast was found guilty of operating a vehicle without a license and fined $150.
Joshua Turbide, 22, of Clinton was found guilty of fishing without a valid license and fined $100.
Correction
An error appeared in the Fifth District Court report that ran in the March 31 edition of The Republican Journal. A charge against Dale Hustus, 45, of Searsport was dismissed in May 2000, and appeared in the closed case report due to a computer issue. The Journal regrets the error.
