Charles “Cliff” Fuller III, 63, died April 7, 2010, at Togus.

He was born in Pawtucket, R.I., April 14, 1946, the son of Charles C. Fuller II and Janice (Orr) Fuller.

He served in the Army from 1968-1971 and was decorated for his service in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Boston University and Vermont Law School and was an attorney in Maine, where he practiced in First District Federal Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. He was a member of VFW, American Legion, American Trial Lawyers Association, Maine Trial Lawyers Association and Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He was a practitioner in Maine from 1991 until recently.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Cote, of Swanville and his children, Jessica and C. Clifton IV.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 a.m to noon Saturday, April 17, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where a funeral service will begin at noon. Burial will be held at Maine Veterans Cemetery Wednesday, April 21, at 10 a.m. Online condolences may be offered at ripostafh.com.
