Dr. Kerri Vacher has opened a naturopathic medical clinic, Belfast Natural Medicine, at 39 Main St.

Belfast Natural Medicine is a full-service naturopathic medical clinic treating both men and women of all ages. It provides medical care during acute illness as well as care, advice and support for broader health and wellness issues. Services include but are not limited to family health care, pediatric care, metabolic detoxification, nutritional counseling and coaching, It employs a body, mind, spirit approach including craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, botanical medicine, homeopathy and hydrotherapy.

Vacher is board-certified at the national level and licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in the state of Maine. She received her doctorate of natural medicine from the nation’s leading naturopathic medical institution, Bastyr University, in Seattle. She completed a residency in a multi-disciplinary primary-care facility working with other naturopaths, as well as doctors of chiropractic medicine, licensed acupuncturists, midwives, massage therapists and herbalists. Most recently, she moved here from Seattle, where she was practicing in another multidisciplinary clinic.

Vacher views true health as freedom from the things that limit one’s ability to enjoy life and strives to help patients achieve health by helping them make good decisions about their physical, emotional and spiritual body. She is a doctor, health coach, mentor and guide on each person’s journey to optimal health.

She is currently accepting new patients.
