On Thursday, April 29, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., join Phillip deMaynadier, biologist for the state of Maine, as he talks about the vibrant life found in vernal pools. These are temporary habitats that need permanent protection.
This talk is sponsored by the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust (formerly Friends of Unity Wetlands) and the Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance. It is being offered through the Mount View Adult Education Program and will take place at Mount View High School in Thorndike. The event is free, but participants must preregister with the Adult Education Office at 568-3426.
