Nicholas Michael Ward, 20, died April 16, 2010, in Brunswick.

He was born in Belfast May 4, 1989, a son of Michael and Susan (Whitcomb) Ward. Nick was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the New Jersey Devils. He loved his job at Spurwink working with the children. He enjoyed music of all kinds. The love of his life and the apple of his eye was his son, Brayden.

Survivors include his maternal grandmother, Estelle Whitcomb, of Belfast; his mother, Susan, and her husband, Keith Albee, of Bath; his father, Michael, and his wife, Sylvie Ward, of Arundel; a son, Brayden Timothy Ward, of Bowdoinham; a sister, Cara Ward, and her partner, Dale Combs, of Sedgwick; a stepbrother, Brian Ouellette, of Arundel; and a stepsister, Angel Ouellette, of Arundel; a special great-aunt, Sa, of Belfast; a special family friend, Cheryl LeBlanc, of Searsport; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Nick’s life will be held Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Belfast United Methodist Church, 23 Mill Lane.
