Orders placed at the Waldo County Soil & Water Conservation District’s annual tree and shrub sale will be available for pickup Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Waldo County Technical Center on Route 137.

Anyone who has placed an order should plan on picking it up at that time. There will be fruit trees, berries and flowering shrubs available for sale as well. Currently, there are pear, peach, plum, flowering crab, blueberry, blackberry, kiwi, cranberry and horseradish still available for sale, along with forsythia, winterberry, spirea, lilac, weigelia and mountain ash.

All items are hardy for this planting zone, healthy bare root stock and are priced to sell. For further information or questions, call Kym Sanderson at the Conservation District, 338-1964, ext. 3.
