“Secret” is the inaugural exhibit at Betts Gallery, the newly named gallery at The Belfast Framer, 96 Main St. The show consists of 21 artists working in various media, both two- and three-dimensional. The public is invited to a reception Friday, May 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The “Secret” artists are Mike Fletcher, Carolyn Caldwell, Sarah Doremus, John Selmer Larsen, Carol Sloane, Dyan Berk, Alan Crichton, James Kinnealey, Alison Rector, Judy Belasco, Sondra Bogdonoff, Jamie Johnston, Jay Gibson, Bill Irvine, Tom Stewart, Daphne Taylor, Jude Nickerson, Gus Zabronski, Karen MacDonald, Daniel Anselmi and Emily Nickerson.
Vicki McDaniel named the gallery after her belated father’s store, Betts, which was a contemporary home furnishing business active in the 1960s. This exhibit coincides with the 20th anniversary of The Belfast Framer.
