An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following activity between April 13 and April 20.

April 13
Kendall C. Walden, 48, of Northport was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Rachel A. Booker, 40, of Belfast was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

April 14
Chyann J. Stewart, 17, of Belfast was summoned for speeding 29 mph in a 15 mph zone on Miller Street.

Bobbie J. Benjamin, 32, of Belfast was summoned for speeding 59 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road.

Rosemarie T. Breen, 29, of Searsmont was summoned for failing to show proof of insurance.

Elvis N. Robbins, 55, of Belfast was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear for bench trial.

At a little after 2:30 p.m. Susan M. Reynolds, 47, of Brooks was stopped at a stop sign-controlled intersection on Field Street when Robert B. Crawford, 60, of Belfast, failed to stop his 2009 Toyota 4-door before running into the rear of Reynolds’ 2009 Ford SUV. Damage to Reynolds’ car was estimated at $1,000 while damage to Crawford’s was estimated at $2,000.

April 18
Scott A. Gallant, 31, of Isleboro was summoned for failing to show proof of insurance.

John D. Lojek, 54, of Brookline, Mass., was summoned for speeding 39 mph in a 25 mph zone on Northport Avenue.
