Jean Jacques Labadie, 51, went to his Lord April 19, 2010, after a long illness, leaving behind his loving partner, Rosie Bean, of Belfast; a son, Frederic Labadie, of Ohio; his loving family in France, including his mother, Cecile Jeanne, sisters Marie-Claude, Marie-Alice and a brother, Paul Labadie; many nieces, nephews and his dog, Midnight.

Jacques was predeceased by his father and a younger brother.

Jacques was a businessman in Ohio after graduating from George Washington University. He moved to Maine, making a big difference in his lifestyle. He made many friends in Belfast selling his Christmas trees, fiddleheads and cooking special plates in his food wagon. Jacques also volunteered at the soup kitchen in Belfast. He always had that special smile for everyone which made him unique.

Jacques will be sadly missed by his loving partner, Rosie Bean, and the family who grew with him in their lives. Jacques will be laid to rest at the Village Cemetery in Searsport at a future date.
