An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following activity between April 21 and April 27.

April 19 (late entry)
Anna R. Raymond, 27, of Searsport was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

April 21
Christopher Whitcomb, 33, of Monroe was summoned for failing to show proof of insurance.

April 22
April J. Howard, 36, of Levant was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

General news
Police ran a bail check on an individual on April 19, ran underage drinking details throughout Searsport from April 19 through April 23, investigated a noise complaint at Rollie’s Bar & Grill on East Main Street on April 23 and a second noise complaint at Rollie’s on April 24, and investigated a criminal mischief complaint on April 24.

Police also conducted welfare checks on citizens around the community and addressed various parking problems on Sears Island Road on April 19 and April 25.

In total, police responded to 49 calls for service.
