An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following activity between April 28 and May 4.

April 27 (late entry)
Bradley Ginn, 21, of Belfast was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fees.

Luetta J. Pankonin, 64, of Belfast was summoned for an inspection sticker violation and for driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Nichole R. Hooper, 17, of Searsport was summoned for carrying passengers beyond interim license restriction and for driving at an imprudent speed.

April 28
Heidi L. Leathers, 29, of Belfast was arrested for violation of condition of release.

Jennifer P. Loring, 24, of Searsport was summoned for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

April 30
Kirt J. Damon, 21, of Stockton Springs was arrested for violation of condition of release.

A man was thrown from his motorcycle at about 7:40 a.m. after a car driving in the opposite direction on Route 52 turned into his lane and hit him. The driver of the motorcycle, Larry Moulton, 42, of Searsmont was driving his 2008 Harley Davidson west on Route 52. Libby Charlone, 39, of Lincolnville had been driving east on Route 52, and went to make a left turn into the parking lot of Belfast Variety. According to police reports, when Charlone turned into Moulton’s path, she did not see him until it was too late.

She did not stop in time, and hit Moulton, who was thrown from his motorcycle. Officer Erik B. Kelley said Moulton was up and walking about when he arrived at the scene. The Belfast Ambulance and Rescue Service was also on hand. Police said Moulton was checked out at the scene and was not injured. Damage to Moulton’s motorcycle was estimated at $6,500, while damage to Charlone’s 2005 Toyota four-door was estimated at $5,500.

May 1
Faith M. Boynton, 27, of Belfast was summoned for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Belmont Avenue.

May 2
Nicholas A. Adolphsen, 25, of Appleton was summoned for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Belmont Avenue and for failing to show proof of insurance.

Wayne D. Tracy, 51, of Belfast was arrested for violating condition of release.

May 3
Dennis L. Pomeray, 29, of Darrington, Wash., was summoned for unnecessary brake noise.

Christina Rackliffe, 37, of Rockland was summoned for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Brian W. Larrabee, 28, of Freedom was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fees.

Clyde R. Mitchell, 41, of Belfast was arrested for domestic violence assault.

May 4
Linda A. Rackliff, 26, of Searsport was summoned for operating after suspension.
