The following cases were closed in Fifth District Court from April 26 to April 30:

Daniel P. Barnes, 22, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked (with prior), $500 fine.

Eric S. Benson, 60, of Southwest Harbor, rule violation (operation 11-hour rule), $250 fine.

Chelsea Dimmitt, 18, of Liberty, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor, $200 fine.

Matthew D. Freeman, 46, of Freedom, failure to register vehicle, $100 fine.

Danny W. Leigh, 31, of Chelsea, cruelty to animals, $400 fine; keeping unlicensed dog, $100 fine; and violating Chapter 721, Title 7 [Editor’s note: This is a section of state law pertaining to dog licensing], $100 fine.

Dexter M. Look, 21, of Belfast, minor possessing liquor, $200 fine. [Editor’s note: The offense with which Look was charged occurred prior to his 21st birthday, according to court records.]

William Mayer Jr., 18, of Liberty, minor possessing liquor, $200 fine; possession of marijuana, dismissed; sale and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

Robert G. Muehlmann, 70, of Freedom, allowing dog to be at large (with priors), $50 fine.

Lucas A. Murdock, 32, of Troy, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Daniel L. Owen, 32, of Hermon, passing stopped school bus, dismissed.

Matthew G. Perry, 23, of Benton, failing to notify of a motor vehicle accident, dismissed; failing to make oral or written accident report, $500 fine.

Shawna L. Sandberg, 29, of Jackson, displaying fictitious vehicle certificate, dismissed.

Amara H. Shaker-Brown, 21, of Islesboro, minor consuming liquor, dismissed. [Editor’s note: The offense with which Shaker-Brown had been charged was alleged to have occurred prior to her 21st birthday, according to court records.]

Robert W. Studley, 38, of Palermo, two counts of operating after habitual offender revocation, 30 days in jail and a total of $1,000 in fines.

Sara Elizabeth Whitney, 26, of Belfast, domestic violence assault, dismissed; disorderly conduct (loud, unreasonable noise), $200 fine.
