Aubuchon Hardware once again held its annual Community Appreciation Day this year. Since 2001, the chain has donated a portion of this day’s sales to a local charity or organization chosen by the store manager. Proceeds from this year’s event in Belfast benefited the Belfast Dog Park.

Aubuchon Hardware has a longstanding tradition of giving back to its community since being founded in 1908. CEO William Aubuchon III stated, “We have always believed that the success of our stores is due to the support from our community, and our annual Community Appreciation Day is just a small token of gratitude to our hometown customers.”

During the Community Appreciation Day event, the Aubuchon Company donates a portion of the day’s sales to benefit the local organization chosen by the store manager. “We believe in giving back where it will make a difference,” said Aubuchon, “and because each community has its own unique needs, the best way to make it count the most is to go straight to the source.”

Aubuchon Hardware has held its Community Appreciation Day for nine years, and has raised more than $250,000 for various organizations throughout New England and New York.
