Saturday, May 22, the Game Loft welcomes Bill Jenkins and his team as moderators of Wings of War, from noon to 6 p.m. This world war-themed miniatures game offers participants of all ages and experience levels a chance to experience how flight permanently influenced military strategy.

Individually crafted tabletop miniatures create a personalized World War I battle scene and offer the chance for players across generations to work together toward victory. The game is open to the public, free of charge, all ages are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Walk-ins welcome; for more information, contact the Game Loft at 338-6447 or by e-mail at thegameloft@spurwink.org.

The Game Loft provides an environment where young people are guided to become caring, competent, confident, contributing and connected adults. The Loft is open Monday through Thursday, 2-6 p.m. and Friday 2-8:30 p.m. All Loft programs are free and open for young people age 18 and under. The Game Loft can now also recruit and direct interested individuals in 4-H programs. For more information visit thegameloft.org or call 338-6447.
