The downtown Farnsworth Art Museum has begun observing its summer schedule. The museum is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will offer free admission on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.

In addition, the museum will host free hours on the first Friday of each month, June through October, from 5 to 8 p.m. The First Friday dates, which are in partnership with Arts In Rockland (AIR), will be June 4, July 2, Aug. 6, Sept. 3 and Oct. 1. The museum’s two historic properties, the Olson House in Cushing and the Farnsworth Homestead, will reopen to the public Friday, May 29.
