Rosey Gerry, musician, auctioneer and raconteur, will host another bluegrass/folk music jam session Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lincolnville Central School, Route 235 in Lincolnville Center.

Everyone, whether just learning to play or at it for a long time, is invited to come and have fun. Participants should bring their mandolins, fiddles, banjos, saws, spoons, guitars, autoharps, harmonicas, washboards, jugs, stand-up basses, concertinas, whistles and, especially, their voices and favorite songs.

The rough schedule for the event is for it to start with a large jam for all, then break into smaller groups at 9:30 a.m., back together from another large jam at 10 a.m. then stage workshops to learn public performance skills from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The free morning jam session is open to all, and spectators are welcome. All ages are encouraged to attend, especially students, and there is plenty of room for spectators. For more information, contact Gerry, a member of the Breezemere Bottom Boys, at 975-5432 or
