Blaine “T’Pot” H. Parsons Sr., 51, died May 17, 2010, with his lovely wife beside him.

He was born in Waterville Nov. 16, 1958, to Harlen H. and Ferne L. (Furrow) Parsons. He graduated in 1977 from Mount View High School and advanced on to several jobs in the Unity area. He was a former member of Unity Ambulance, but his passion was being a life member of the Unity Fire Department.

His other passions in life were hunting, fishing and being with family and friends he loved dearly, and that’s what he lived for.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Hillard and Edith Parsons and J. Burn Furrow; his loving mother, Ferne L. (Furrow) Parsons; his father-in-law, Gerald Frost Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Duprey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Theresa A. Parsons, of Unity; a son, Blaine H. Parsons II, of Unity; a daughter, Julie L. Parsons, of Freedom; his father, Harlen H. Parsons, and his special friend, Geraldine Reynolds, of Unity Township; his grandmother, Helen Furrow, of Sidney; two brothers, Guy Parsons and his wife, Diane, of Stockton, and Dan Parsons and his wife, Bonnie, of Unity Township; his mother-in-law, Lucille Frost, of Southwest Harbor; four brothers -n-law, Gerald Frost and his wife, Beth, of Seal Harbor, Phillip Frost and his wife, Diane, of Southwest Harbor, Kenny Frost and his wife, Jenny, of Dexter, and David Duprey of East Millinocket; a sister-in-law, Karen Richards, and her special friend, Tim McCormick, of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m. at Unity Centre for the Performing Arts in Unity. Burial will follow at Unity Pond Cemetery.

The family would like to specially thank Maine Medical Center in Portland, the dialysis nurses at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Campus. Inland as well as Inland Wound Clinic in Waterville and New Horizon Health Care and Physical Therapy in Unity. Blaine and his family want to thank all the special friends who have supported him and he wanted you to know how much he loved all of you.
