The Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast will hold its annual spring/summer clothing sale and silent auction Friday through Sunday, May 28-30, at the church, 37 Miller St., next to the library. There also will be a small plants/cuttings sale in the silent auction area.

The sale was originally scheduled for an earlier date, but was postponed because of the death of a prominent member of the church, Gail O’Donnell. Sale and bidding times are: Friday, May 28, 5-7 p.m.; Saturday, May 29, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sunday May 30, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Clothing specials will be available in the church’s boutique room. The silent auction winners will be announced at 1 p.m.

Persons, whether they are church members or not, can make donations to the sale by dropping the items off at the church from Sunday, May 23, to Wednesday, May 26. A good way to determine if something should be donated is to ask yourself: Have I worn this in the past year or so? If the answer is no, you can donate it to a good cause.
