A selection of work by artist Bohni Kempton of Searsport is on display this month in the connector at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 98 Court St. A special reception to meet the artist will be held Sunday, June 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Kempton, a painter and printmaker, has a bachelor of fine arts in fine art, Summa Cum Laude, from Michigan State University. There she studied painting with artist and educator Irv Terin and painter Robert Di Nero, Sr. She also studied painting at Cranbrook Academy in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

The title of her show is “Affection of Time and Place,” which represents a collection of lithographs, wood cuts, silk screens and enamel spray paint work done between 1980 and the present.
