An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following activity between June 2 and June 7:

Michael J. Derosier, 39, of Minot was summoned for obstructing the report of a crime and violating conditions of release.

June 3
Donna Bickford, 42, of Bucksport was summoned for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Mark Tamnen, 49, of Winterport was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

June 4
Cameron Philbrook, 34, of Northport was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.

June 5
Danielle Seekins, 22, of Belfast was arrested for violating conditions of release and for sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

David Linscott Jr., 28, of Searsport was arrested for violating conditions of release.

Devon Sprague, 19, of Swanville was summoned for violation conditions of release and for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

General news
During the week, police investigated multiple building alarms and two animal problems; assisted other law enforcement agencies three times; investigated a burglary that is still under investigation by Sgt. Steven Saucier; conducted two welfare checks and secured an unsecured building.

In total, police responded to 45 calls for service.
