The Belfast Rotary Club held its annual golf tourney June 12 at the Northport Golf Club. The event raised more than $13,000 for the club’s scholarship fund.

Two teams tied for first at 11-under par 61 in the scramble format event. Those teams were Waldo Woodworking with team members Mark Rae, Todd Jackson, Shannon Gray and Garlie Gray and Camden National Bank with golfers Paul Doody, Valery Doody, Ansel Orne and Jesse Johnson.

Finishing third gross at 62 were Ryan Otis, Charlie Pray, Randy Berry and Will Baker of the Rollie’s Bar N’ Grill team.

The longest drive for women was by Lisa Chase, while Preston Ward had the longest drive for men.

Closest-to-the-pin winners were John Ford at 3 feet and 11 inches on the third hole; Paul Jasienowski, 10-9 on the ninth; Doug Deans, 7-3 on the 12th; and Paul Doody, 5-2 on the 18th.

Thirteen foursomes participated in the tourney and enjoyed a buffet lunch following the event.
