In the election results reported in the June 9 edition of the Journal, it was incorrectly reported that Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Rowe received no votes in the town of Northport. Rowe actually received 30 votes. This changed his countywide vote tally to 715 votes, which meant that he finished second behind Libby Mitchell, while Rosa Scarcelli finished third with 689. The incorrect figure was included in the initial voting results sent in from Northport, and the Journal did not learn of the error until after the June 9 edition had gone to print.
