Camden Public Library will again host a series of free concerts in the adjacent Camden Amphitheatre on Atlantic Avenue. The Mehuman Trio will lead off the series Thursday, July 1 at 7 p.m.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Mehuman Jonson cut her teeth on old-time gospel spirituals, straight-ahead jazz, country blues and classic rock and roll. CNN music touted Jonson as “one of the top 10 burgeoning songwriters to watch.”

Other concerts in the series include Simons & Goodwin Thursday, July 22; Free Seedlings Thursday, Aug. 5; and The Mink Hill Band from New Hampshire Thursday, Aug. 19. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are free. Concertgoers should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
