The Belfast Art Walk Friday, July 2 will run from 5 to 8 p.m. and feature 19 participating galleries, musical performances, dancers and performers in the streets and more, reflecting all the diversity the city has to offer.

Off the Beaten Path Gallery, Daniel Anselmi at 75 Main Street Studio, First Light Gallery, High Street Studio and Gallery and Roots & Tendrils will be hosting opening receptions. Also open will be Waterfall Arts, Brambles, Art Alliance Gallery, Åarhus Gallery, Beyond the Sea, Belfast Co-op Café Gallery, Image Box Photos, Parent Gallery, Ben Hall at 960 Studio, Galerie Dufour, Betts Gallery at the Belfast Framer, Dina Petrillo at The Post Office Studio Workshop, Susan Cooney Fine Art Studio and Maine Farmland Trust.

There will be live performances on the streets and around town, adding a lively and festive atmosphere to the downtown. Performers for will include singer/songwriter Craig Hensley and dancer Hanna DeHoff. DeHoff of Rockland will be performing an improvisational and interactive piece inspired by Esther Williams’ aqua musicals of the 1940s. She is a dancer, actress and choreographer who teaches around the Midcoast. Craig is a talented guitarist and singer inspired by the traditional folk songs of America and the modern innovators of the craft. His songwriting echoes his familiarity with bluegrass and old-time music, and his original lyrics serve as a connection to the past while envisioning the timeless horizon.
