Artist Brenda Haley is exhibiting her work at The Working Art Gallery, 65 Main St. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., to 8 p.m. during Friday Art Walks.

Haley grew up in Machias surrounded by forest, farm and the rugged coast of Maine. After raising her family, her career took a new turn when she became owner/operator of a hunting lodge in Waldo County. The constant interaction with the outdoors and sportsmen gave her a whole new appreciation for the natural beauty around her. Since retiring in 2004, she has painted full-time and her passion for the Maine outdoors is captured in her paintings.

To see more of Haley’s work, visit The Working Art Gallery, which currently has 32 visiting artists and room for more. For more information, contact Sheryl Tripp at 338-4820 or stop in.
