An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with Troops D of the Maine State Police responded to the following incidents in Waldo County during the past week. Anyone with information regarding ongoing investigations is asked to call 800-452-4664.

July 1

Trooper Bethany Couturier responded to Waldo Station Road in Waldo for a report of theft of services. Investigation revealed that a male in a taxi had failed to pay his fare. The investigation is ongoing.

Trooper Donald Webber arrested Christopher Burbelo, 28, of Frankfort on an outstanding warrant.

July 3

Trooper Jonathan Russell arrested Fred Cameron, 50, of Jackson for domestic violence terrorizing. Cameron was also charged for failure to submit to arrest or detention.

Troopers Corey Smith and Luke Cunningham responded to Curtis Road in Monroe for a report of domestic violence. Investigation revealed Tamra Ginise, 38, had assaulted her husband. Ginise was arrested and charged with domestic violence assault.
