Good friends and family came together on June 19 at the Tri-Town Sno-Riders Clubhouse in Morrill to help Bob and Shirley Cushman of Belmont celebrate their 50th anniversary with a potluck supper.

They were married in Belfast June 18, 1960.

All but two of Bob’s 12 siblings were there from all over the country.

They have four children: Angela who lives in Medford, Okla., with her husband, Steve, and their four boys, Brian, Roger, Patrick and Steven. They drove home with two of their granddaughters, Bridget, 4, and Karen, 2.

Son Earl  lives in Northport with his wife, Backy, and two boys, Josh and Elias.

Son Robert Jr. lives in Belmont with Deb and their three boys, Robert III, Mathew and Eric.

Daughter Amy lives in Belmont with Jeff and her daughter, Jazmyn.

Bob worked for many years at Robbins Lumber until he had to retire in 1998.

The couple have enjoyed traveling, camping, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

Bob has been sick for the last few years, and now has to have dialysis three times a week. However, they both have a positive attitude towards life and look forward to many more years together.

They want to thank everyone who came to help them make their day a very special one.
