The July show at the Liberty Library, 59 Main St., features three-dimensional works including fanciful and functional art by some well-known local artists.

Willy Wilmoth, a woodcarver with a national reputation, has four engaging pieces of Maine wildlife. Other artists include Al Crichton and Martha Piscuskas of Waterfall Arts; Richard Whittier, garden sculpture; Betsy Levine, pottery; Dave McLaughlin, metal work; and more. Call for August photo show

The Liberty Library invites the public to enter framed photography for its August show. Photographs may be brought into the library Sunday, Aug. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. or Monday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon. Other arrangements may be made by calling 589-3123.
