A Lincolnville man has been arrested following a search of his Camden Road home Aug. 7.

Michael York, 55, of Lincolnville was arrested for cultivation of marijuana after police received information that marijuana was being grown at his residence, according to a press release from Lincolnville police.

A search of the home by Chief Ron Young and Officer Brian Lunt resulted in the seizure of 21 marijuana plants being grown on the property.

York also was summoned for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to Waldo County Jail and later released on bail.
